Service Overview

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Inspection and Testing

OSH Inspection and Testing refers to the examination and testing of equipment, installations, and work systems to ensure that all components comply with safety standards and are fit for use. This process aims to prevent accidents, protect building users, and ensure that operations run safely and in accordance with applicable regulations, thereby minimizing workplace risks from the outset. OSH Inspection and Testing consists of two types: new registration and renewal.

Benefits and Importance

This process ensures that work equipment and installations are in safe and proper condition for use, thereby helping to prevent potential workplace accidents. In addition, OSH inspection serves as a form of regulatory compliance, allowing operations to run smoothly without the risk of sanctions or disruptions.

Validity Period

The validity period of OSH Inspection and Testing is 1 year and must be renewed to ensure that equipment and installations remain safe, suitable for use, and compliant with applicable safety standards.

Types of Equipment

  • Lifts & Escalators

  • Electrical Panels and Installations (distribution panels, grounding systems, cables)

  • Generators and ATS/AMF Systems

  • Fire Protection Systems (hydrants, sprinklers, fire alarms, fire extinguishers)

  • Chillers and Cooling Towers

  • Water Pumps & Mechanical Systems

  • Lightning Protection Systems

  • Pressure Vessels / Tanks

  • HVAC Systems (AHU, FCU, ventilation systems)

  • Building Gondola Systems

  • Boilers & Steam Installations (especially in hotels)

  • Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP/STP)

  • Dumbwaiters or Conveyor Systems

Processing Time

The processing time for OSH Inspection and Testing is generally 1–4 weeks, depending on document completeness, the number of equipment inspected, and field conditions. The process may be faster if all documents are complete and the equipment is in good condition, but it may take longer if repairs are required before certification can be issued.
